(1/5) one of my relatives is a colonel (doctor) in the army and heads his unit. he can easily afford private medical education in india/abroad for his son. yet he’s forcing him to attempt NEET for the 5th time because he was a top 100 AIR and chose AFMC over AIIMS

People don’t understand, there should be protest but if you go onto these events and get arrested or come within the systems lens, these can destroy your future. I have heard news about people having visa issues just because they went to some event like these and got caught. You are literally gambling your future for people who won’t even care for you if their demands are met. The trade off is just too much imo

@Ra1kshit the only people who had a reason to panic were those who benefited from the paper leak/those who got lucky with random guesses and knew they probably couldn’t replicate that score. using those tragic deaths as proof that a re-exam itself was unjustified doesn’t make sense

@Ra1kshit and coming to the suicides, a lot of students tragically die by suicide even after failing jee or neet. why would a genuinely well-prepared student take such a step just because the exam was being re-conducted? you don’t suddenly forget everything you studied a few weeks ago.

@Ra1kshit okay, let’s say that hypothetically, dharmendra pradhan is replaced w xyz as the education minister; how do you think it’s gonna resolve the issue and that such leaks wouldn’t happen again? did exam leaks not happen when bjp wasn’t in power?
