@pixieperceptron depends which IIMs, 99%ile for fair chances esp if either of 10th or 12th is below 95% (ext hard if below 90 in either), 70 or 80+ in grad. then interviews are another ballgame, so prep early because most people end up converting like 2 of 5-6 calls

how hard is it for a fresher and general category female engineering grad from a tier-2 college to crack the IIMs? what are the cutoffs for the BLACKI colleges in such scenarios?

@sundaramtwts is a work ex from a good startup as valuable as that from an mnc?

@pixieperceptron I'm not an expert but based on what I've heard from people, if you've done undergrad from a tier-2 college then having some work ex before an mba is a good option. Answering your question, it isn't that hard, they consider a lot of other things apart from your undergrad college.

how useful is cfa for mba (if coming from an engg. background)? how many levels should i plan to clear before mba?

@pixieperceptron Congratulations! One thing on ppo I would recommend is make a doc and log your daily tasks and how it impacted company performance or team efficiency and sync that with manager bi weekly or montly. Has worked for most of my friends! Hope you get PPO as well :)

learnt a thing about human psychology. happiness is SO short-lived. after knowing that I got in, my first thought was, “now I gotta grab the ppo” 🫠🫠

4 rounds btw, with two rounds of proper grilling on dev, ai/ml, projects, research paper, case studies, and guesstimates (ok I kinda suck at the last one, still learning) 😤

my uni’s sub reddit used to give 11/10 gossip, but now it’s 11/10 scary 😭
