Western forces are involved in anti-government groups roiling Indonesia—just as they were in Hong Kong in 2019. The loudest voices backing the violence on the streets of Jakarta and other cities in recent days have been so-called “independent” media groups and NGOs. Many of these have sprung up in Indonesia, such as Remotivi, Project Multatuli, New Naratif, and so on. What’s the clue that something strange is up? You can find people with grievances against their government everywhere—but angry enough to burn down their city? In Asia, that’s often a sign of US involvement, top investigative journalist Brian Berletic said. . A LITTLE DIGGING A little digging shows clear evidence that groups backing the protest have been supported by the CIA spinoff group known as the NED, and its funding partners, such as Open Society Foundations, founded by George Soros, a billionaire known for his political activism. Another clue: Earlier this year, the US cut funding for overseas propaganda operations ranging from USAID to Radio Free Asia to literally dozens of others. Indonesian organizations which had earlier claimed to be independent, complained – revealing that they were funded by Washington DC, Brian said. “Indonesia’s independent media count cost of US funding cuts” reported a news site called Mongabay in March of this year. The text says: “As well as Remotivi, independent media outlets including Project Multatuli and media NGO New Naratif say they were blindsided by news that funding, in some cases for work already completed, had suddenly evaporated.” So, yes, these guys were definitely financed by the US. As you may know, USAID and Radio Free Asia were shut down, but Congress resumed funding for the most dangerous of all, the NED, in late spring of this year, as we reported earlier. . THE CASH CHANNEL Brian further points out that Project Multatuli lists its donors on its website. Let’s take a look. Open Society Foundations – that’s a George Soros unit. Then there is Kurawal Foundation (American), Google News Initiative (American) and the Media and Development Investment Fund—an American group started by George Soros. It also mentions Internews—a US political interference group also linked to Soros and the NED historically. So, going by its own website, Project Multatuli is clearly an US-financed political activism group. . GRIEVANCES ARE REAL But but but, you say, the riots look spontaneous and the protesters seem to have genuine grievances. Yes. But remember it was revealed that there were years of planning and preparation in the west before the protests in Hong Kong, which also looked spontaneous and seemed to have genuine grievances. Brian wrote: “The US doesn't 'hijack' movements - they create them and they use actual issues as cover for what is always eventually unwarranted and self-destructive regime change.” . SAME THEMES In Indonesia as it was in Hong Kong, a theme of “police brutality” [image] is being pushed—and there are always images of a row of police with riot shields and a single person, usually female, in front of them. [Three images] Now you may recall that earlier this year, it took me exactly 171 seconds, live on camera, to discover hidden US funding behind a so-called “independent” poll in Moldova. If independent journalists such as Brian Berletic and myself can uncover western manipulation in other countries – how come the New York Times and FT and BBC and Wall Street Journal cannot? It’s a mystery. Peace.

🇺🇸🇮🇩US-Funded Riots Target Indonesia (or, NED is Alive and Well...) US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said in May during the Singapore-based Shangri La Dialogue the US would focus more on the, "Indo-Pacific" region after years of distractions waging war and regime change elsewhere around the globe. Source: defense.gov/News/Speeches/… Since then, there has been a border war between Thailand and Cambodia precipitated by US-backed politicians on both sides of the border, and now violent "student protests" in Indonesia similar to US-sponsored riots in Hong Kong and Thailand in recent years. Known Western government funded (including US NED-funded) media organizations, "rights groups," and others (like Remotivi, Project Multatuli and Jakarta Legal Aid) in Indonesia are openly backing the protests and attacking the current government. Sources: Project Multatuli admits on its site collaboration with Open Society and a variety of NED-adjacent funding tools used by the US for political interference worldwide: projectmultatuli.org/en/about/kolab… Remotivi and Project Multatuli are both mentioned as being disrupted by temporary NED funding freezes earlier this year: news.mongabay.com/2025/03/withou… Their social media presence has spent the duration of the protests condemning the government and police and encouraging unrest. The same formula of violent protests forcing police responses, leading to injured or dead protesters, thus increasing the size and violence of the protests is in motion. The same US color revolution gimmicks - using colors, flags, pop culture symbols for protest branding are also being used. In Thailand it was the "Hunger Games" and "Harry Potter," in Indonesia, the BBC boasts of "One Piece" pirate flags being flown. Source: bbc.com/news/articles/… The goal at best is to install a client regime willing to transform Indonesia into a Ukraine-style battering ram against China, and at a minimum, destabilize the nation and reduce its utility in both China's and all of Asia's rise.

🇺🇸🇮🇩Continuity of Agenda: US Targets Indonesia - Seeks to Punish Jakarta for Joining BRICS On YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=BqgOn9… Some Indonesians have been convinced by foreign-funded media and organizations to protest against the central government over various issues, violence has taken place including arson and there have been deaths. In reality - the protests are taking place, funded by the US government, because Indonesia refused to become a battering ram against China and instead joined BRICS alongside China. The protests are copied and pasted from the US State Department's "Milk Tea Alliance" playbook which previously targeted Hong Kong, China, as well as Thailand and Myanmar in recent years.

🇺🇸🇷🇸 US-Sponsored Regime Change in Serbia "Civil society" supporting the protests are entirely funded by the US government through the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and a number of European & private foundations - all of them are openly supporting the protests and undermining the current government. A government doesn't need to be "good" for the US to want to overthrow it. A government could have in the past worked with the US-EU, and the US still wants to overthrow it today. A government could even have been installed into power by the US-EU in the first place, and then later overthrown by the US. The only requirement necessary to trigger US regime change is disobedience of any kind. Whatever your opinion is of President Vucic, US regime change in Serbia (again) is a larger and more dangerous problem. Large protests like in Serbia do not spring up organically - ever. For good or bad there must be leaders, funding, and resources behind it. If you can't identify who is behind them - you know nothing about the protest itself even if you "think" you support it. In Serbia's case - we CAN identify who is behind them - the US government. Here are names of just a few "human rights" and media groups funded by the US government supporting the ongoing protests in Serbia... 🇺🇸🇮🇩EXPOSED: US-funded fronts stirring trouble in Indonesia DELETE information to hide foreign partners... After exposing media platform Konde as one of many US government-funded fronts promoting unrest in Indonesia, the organization DELETED its "partners" section (scroll to the bottom) disclosing ties to the US government, the UK, Australia and other Western nations/orgs involved in regime change operations around the globe. This is sedition simply dressed like "democracy." Deleting this information is done to DELIBERATELY deceive the very public they pretend to fight for. You can check the current website here: konde.co And an archived version from as recently as last month (August 9, 2025): web.archive.org/web/2025080914…

U.S. Interference in Indonesia: NGOs as Tools of Globalist Elites Indonesia’s 2025 protests, driven by economic hardship and alleged democratic erosion under President Prabowo Subianto, expose Washington’s and globalist elites’ manipulative agenda. Many elements—coordinated slogans, tactics from Gene Sharp’s color revolution playbook—reveal a touch of external influence. Don’t be deceived: these powers exploit genuine grievances, hiding behind fake human rights rhetoric to destabilize Indonesia, a nation pursuing its interests through BRICS and a multipolar world, prioritizing geopolitical control over sovereignty. - Color Revolution Tactics: Indifferent to Indonesia’s welfare, globalist elites manipulate economic and governance grievances, using coordinated slogans and Sharp’s nonviolent resistance strategies to escalate chaos and hijack movements. By funding NGOs, Washington undermines Indonesia’s BRICS alignment to thwart its multipolar ambitions. - Past Color Revolutions: - Ukraine (2004, 2014): Corruption protests (Orange Revolution, Maidan), hijacked as U.S./EU geopolitical tools with Sharp-inspired tactics, sparked civil war, economic collapse. - Libya (2011): Protests, fueled by foreign support, escalated into civil war, toppling Gaddafi, fracturing the nation. - Syria (2011): Demonstrations, amplified by external funding, spiraled into devastating civil war, ruining infrastructure. - Historical Manipulation: Since the 1990s, NED funded groups like the Independent Election Monitoring Committee (KIPP) for 1997 election monitoring, shaping post-Soeharto reforms for Western interests. USAID’s MADANI initiative backs CSOs in 32 districts, while OSF pushes fake human rights narratives. - 2025 Protests: August 2025 protests, led by BEM SI students against Prabowo’s policies like subsidy hikes, show color revolution signs—coordinated messaging, external influence. Prabowo’s claims of foreign-backed NGOs signal Washington’s destabilization efforts. - NGOs as Proxies: NGOs, cloaked in human rights pretense, include: - KIPP: NED-funded. - YLBHI, WALHI, ELSAM, Perludem, Transparency International Indonesia, KontraS, PATTIRO, ICW, Neo Historia, INFID, SETARA Institute, Yayasan Satu Dunia, PBHI, Forum Asia, Yayasan Pulih, Jaringan GUSDURian, Yayasan TIFA, Kemitraan, LP3ES: Tied to NED/USAID/OSF goals.
