The amount of yelling, instead of coaching, that goes on at youth sports games from coaches to players is outrageous. They’re kids. No, they don’t know what they’re doing. That’s why you’re the COACH. To help them, not yell at, belittle, and discourage them. #neverwas

The kinds of people we need in government are precisely the kinds of people who are most reluctant to go into government — people who understand the inherent dangers of power and feel a distaste for using it, but who may do so for a few years as a civic duty.

This is a foul at every level of football including NFL. Not a dirty hit, but it’s dangerous for player getting hit and more so for player doing the hitting. That’s not a textbook tackle. Can’t lower head and hit w/crown. Rule isn’t perfect, but it’s done way more good than bad.

It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.
