In this country, government and the rule of law depend largely and rightly on the principle of consent. But that depends in turn on the consistency, integrity & impartiality of govt and the application of the law. That is now hugely strained. A moment of real and serious concern.
Can the PM assure us he would have been as supportive if an Opposition adviser had done the same as DC, or if their spouse had written 1000 words about the family's experience and carefully omitted to refer to their travels?

Thanks @ABTAtravel for the full bond repayment after last summer's holiday with SuperBreak was cancelled when it went broke, and to @HaysTravel Middlesbrough for help at the time including finding a replacement
Delighted to hear the news that Bishop Stephen Cottrell will become Archbishop of York next summer. Prayers for him, and of course for Archbishop Sentamu who continues to lead us until June.
Brief but happy visit to the Society of the Sacred Mission at Willen as Bishop Visitor. Intimate Vigil Mass last night and now taking Communion to dear Fr Edmund in the nursing home.
