@pjivers @MattWallace888 sure they can try but ultimately it should be her decision. It seems like she fought to have this option and taking it away from her would be a punishment.

@eturesay @MattWallace888 But is it not the free will of others to try and stop her?
English

@MattWallace888 Sad story, but if we believe in free will, we must respect one's right to end their life. This is a tough life: mind intact with bad memories, body broken. It is torture. Best thing to do for her is getting max sentence for her attackers.

There are entire platforms and channels dedicated to sharing patient stories of how their lives were destroyed my SSRIs.
And to add insult to injury, the psychiatrists don't stay silent... they call the patients liars and blame them...
There are few things as corrupt as psych.

@AndrewZywiecMD Thank you for speaking out doctor. Please consider sharing the @MoralMedicine YouTube channel. Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD) sufferers share their horrific stories. youtu.be/bMnQOkW5-XU?si…

I have just recently learned the PSSD/PFS community has lost another sufferer.
That is now two different men I have previously spoken with over messages that have lost their lives in just the last few months from PSSD.
I’m tired of watching previously healthy people lose their lives to drugs they didn’t need and were not informed of the risks.
This is not a mistake. The pharmaceutical executives know very well about all of this. However, they continue to stay silent and bury these issues for both power and profit. We must change the narrative and hold them accountable.

We need to stop using the word “withdrawal” and “brain changes” and start using the words “brain injury”. Because that’s what it is. These drugs, in developing brains or long term (and sometimes short term) cause brain injuries.

10 years ago, the 1st quantitative MRI study of brain development after prenatal SSRI exposure was published. The findings were alarming: SSRI-exposed neonates had widespread brain changes. Children exposed to depression/no SSRIs showed no brain changes. Since 2016, ten more MRI studies have shown brain changes with prenatal SSRI exposure - and there is still no warning about this on the drug labels. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC49…

One tragic pattern I see repeated in prescribed harm cases is this:
A child grows up in a neglectful or dysfunctional family. They develop depression or anxiety and are put on medication. The medication causes harm rather than relief.
Now more vulnerable than before, the child becomes increasingly dependent. The family responds by doubling down on neglect and invalidation, framing them as the problem. The clinician, rather than questioning this dynamic, often reinforces it.
The result is a second abandonment, the child is left harmed by treatment, trapped in the same environment that contributed to their distress, and with even fewer means of escape.
