I was taught that it's better to be ten minutes early than one minute late, anyone else think the same as me?

@SwailesRuth The real problem in schools is that they are dealing with too much pastoral stuff. All the stuff that parents used to do is now done by schools. What are parents doing? Fix this and fix the behaviour crisis then schools can get back to their primary purpose - Education.

After leading 41 training sessions, visiting 27 schools and working with thousands of teachers since January, I think I’ve got a fairly good handle on the mood in the profession. Here’s what I’ve observed. Everyone is working flat out. Harder than they’ve ever worked before.

@bphillipsonMP Why do my taxes subsidise another persons kids? Surely they should be responsible for their own children?

😞 Our offer of 30 hours of government-funded childcare is no longer saving families £7,500... ...it's now saving them £8,000! 😃 Labour is delivering for working families and tackling the cost of living.

@DavidMcGregorBN Free childcare should be abolished - it’s absurd expecting other people (taxpayers) to pay for YOUR children. That’s YOUR responsibility. Put half the savings into education and use the rest to cut the budget deficit.

Not to be hyperbolic, but this is such a massive change to people’s lives. Tories brought the 15 hours in and refused to fund the 30 needed. Now Labour are providing parents the freedom to return to work.

Some of the medical aid I’ve brought directly with me to Cuba, as Trump tries to strangle the Cuban people. Today we’ll be receiving tonnes more as the Nuestra America Aid Convoy arrives. Aid is arriving all the time from Britain thanks to solidarity. Donate to Viva Cuba below.

@BBCMOTD @BBCSport First 2 names on the team sheet should be Kane (obviously) - England’s (maybe world’s) best goal scorer TAA - England’s most creative player.

@KateFantom If all renewables are lumped together as “42%” then I’ll quote you another number “An even bigger 58% from non-renewables”. We need: more wind More solar More nuclear More gas More oil And maybe for emergencies: more coal.

Whatever you read on the internet, please remember the facts. So far this year renewables have supplied over 42% of our grid energy. That’s more than any other energy source.

@henrywinter He’s the most creative England eligible player. Take him to the World Cup then when we can’t unlock the Fra/ Spn/ Arg etc defences, send him on at HT with the instructions “do whatever you want”. He’s miles better than Bellingham. His weakness is defending and consistency.

Trent Alexander-Arnold plays right-back for Real Madrid. Started home and away against Manchester City. He won the Premier League and Champions League at right-back with Liverpool. He’s used to dealing with pressure. He’s taken a decisive tournament penalty. He’s played in the World Cup before. He has occasional defensive deficiencies but he brings a long-range passing skill that few possess. Are England that blessed at right-back that they don’t need Alexander-Arnold? That he isn’t amongst the best 30 outfield players available to Thomas Tuchel?

@MissCatnach Or, as we did when I was a child, we simply remembered what we had to do and wrote it in our books. No apps, no homework planners / diaries, we just remembered.
