@r1ndie @LethalEvo Nobody is saying all art should be inspired by AI, that particular piece is in itself a comment about AI. The comment, is the human idea

@pl_tore @LethalEvo This weak ass participation grade line of thinking. You don’t reclaim and reform an AI idea. I should just start re-painting all of the AI images I see on Pinterest since artistry is apparently about timesink and not the original vision that comes from a human brain

@r1ndie @LethalEvo I didn’t say they’re on the same level, I said it’s a process of reclamation in a similar way. The comparison isn’t of the severity it’s of the reclamation

@pl_tore @LethalEvo This comparison isn’t apt whatsoever as slurs were coined and used to perpetuate existing oppression and demean individuals. To even imply Gen AI (mostly used by lazy people) is on the same level is odd

@r1ndie @LethalEvo It’s taken the attention slop would have receive and given it to art. And I could never hate that

@r1ndie @LethalEvo I think it’s easier if I explain it more like a reclamation. It’s somewhat similar to how some slurs can been reclaimed by certain groups and used as terms of endearment. The n word could/should never escape its racist origin cuz it’s friendlier counterpart is a protest of it
