After much consideration I've decided to halt work (what little was happening) on the comic indefinitely (but probably for a long time) because of multiple reasons which will be expanded upon later. But I will continue to post about Placeholder. 🧵 (1/?)

Gonna post about Mary’s dumb kids later (spoiler they’re all dead)

Winifred’s three daughters don’t have good relationships with each other like when they were to grow up Samira (the black/blue one) would grow to actually hate Amara (brown one)

Winifred used to smoke weed as a teenager

Before the comic was ending I wanted to like, introduce the fact oh hey what Mary had a child ?!!? Anyways this was the script for that (originally written by our previous writer, redone by me/pin and a friend)

I think later I might ramble about what the next part of the comic was gonna be before I decided to stop drawing it lol

I half considered stopping the AU all together but I still really wanted to share the characters and stories.(partially for sentimental reasons) TL;DR, Placeholder will not continue as a comic for the foreseeable future, But I will still talk about it because I still love it! 🫶

I also found it to be quite daunting, the whole comic thing. It gave me really bad burnout afterwards and made me not like drawing for a while because it felt more like obligation rather than passion. So I think being more open about the whole AU will be better! (3/?)
