Oliver and his cringe “comedy” show are dutifully doing their part in the coordinated leftwing regime/media op to take down Elon and X. It’s a fascinating study in left-wing agitprop lightly glazed with a veneer of what passes as “humor” to left-wing audiences. After attacking Elon’s appearance, all of the tired, standard slurs and epithets are here — Elon is racist, anti-semitic, stupid, messianic, privileged, dangerous, right-wing troll, conspiracy theorist, white nationalist, etc. But Oliver has opened up an alternative attack line in this Musk “deep dive” — that Elon is really not a brilliant mind, an innovator, a savvy entrepreneur or a empathetic executive. No, no. You see, Elon really just stole other people’s ideas, repackaged and improved upon them. Elon is a horrible, abusive boss. Elon doesn’t care about his people. Elon creates dangerous work conditions. !!! Tesla’s driverless cars are going to kill people !!! This is a flailing attempt at a systematic deconstruction of Elon’s business acumen, companies and practices — sneering, smug and over-produced — complete with archival Elon clips, live performance art and music. It’s like a bad SNL skit that drones on for 30 full minutes, delivered by an eager regime shill who’s never created a business in his life to an in-studio crowd of obediently-trained clapping seals. Kara Swisher with an appearance! How original. And, of course no Elon hit-piece is complete without the standard: !!! Elon is a Russian asset who betrayed Ukraine !!! This was a high-effort endeavor. Producers, writers, performers, network execs, all devoting time and resources to it. There’s a reason. Elon and X must be destroyed. The threat that a free-speech platform poses to the ruling regime is too great. I’ve edited this clip to capture the lowlights, but it’s still a somewhat lengthy clip.
