@_power_A She's not brilliant. She's 33 and has been pretty much stagnant in her development as a TV wrestler for the last two years. She has incredible gear and does a cool looking head butt and a kick. But that's it. Compare that to a much younger Maya or Billie in AEW when they wrestle

Kris Statlander feels aimless as a babyface right now, but her last heel turn wasn't inspiring either. The best approach might be a heel version of Kris Statlander's alien / oddball character from the start of AEW and joining Hikaru Shida, so she has someone by her side as TBS Champion and doesn't constantly get outnumbered by the faces. It's also something different compared to the many stables AEW has on TV with having two people join forces that are on a similar level on the totem pole with so much shared history between them which can be used in storylines and character interactions. Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida proved that they have chemistry with each other in their feud when it comes to in-ring and character work and it's something new to explore for Kris Statlander's character-wise. It can also present an interesting dynamic in the "Who attacked Toni Storm" storyline.

Not only do the in person attendance goes up when anyone other than mjf is champion but as for the tv ratings, they always change for the better only when Kenny Omega appears, that's the only big factor. Kenny is the biggest draw in aew.

It's hilarious how some try to attribute the success of AEW this year to mjf when the Data clearly shows differently. The highest tv rating for a match this year was for Kenny vs Swerve Part Two, the highest in person attendance for Dynamite was when Darby was champion.
