This is an historic day! With this final vote in the Senate, Bill C-22 - the Canada Disability Benefit Act - is now on it's way to receiving Royal Assent. This is the culmination of years of activism from members of the disability community. This is your victory.



Today is the day!! The Canada Disability Benefit passed in the Senate and will soon receive Royal assent to become a law. This is a historic moment for Canadian social policy and the financial security of people with disabilities throughout the country. #EndDisabilityPoverty
