@plasticdotdisc Most hip hop artist experimental raps aren’t really talked about because people put them in a box because that’s what there mostly not known for

keeping things limited and essentially gatekeeping people from getting their hands on a copy once they’re sold out, when you’d expect an unknown independent artist to want to allow as many people as possible to hear their music, and especially purchase the album physically since streaming pays fractions of a penny, is the definition of betting on yourself and sticking to your art

beyond the music, this helped kick off a revolution that would change how artists, primarily underground rappers, approached their vinyl releases every record got a OBI now, everyone tries to hype up their vinyl release like a sneaker drop, some refuse to repress, etc. @DaupeMedia @WESTSIDEGUNN 🫡
