A plea to pastors and church leaders: We have not just the opportunity, but the responsibility (and the privilege) to turn this picture of red zones upside down.

If we actually believe the Bible, we’ll leave behind this brand of Christianity we’ve created that’s content to essentially ignore over 3 billion in the world who’ve never heard the gospel. So the question is: do we actually believe the Bible?

A gospel that’s not worth dying for is a gospel that’s not worth living for. Pray for freedom from the idolatry of safety in your life. And for those who are daily sacrificing safety for the spread of the gospel where it hasn’t gone.

Could our desire for quick success stories and impressive reporting numbers actually be keeping people around the world from hearing the gospel? Making our lives count by making Jesus known in the world requires patient resolve on all of our parts.

You don’t necessarily have to take a trip to reach unreached people. God, open our eyes to the opportunities we have to share Jesus with people from unreached nations in our own neighborhoods.

I wish you could meet these brothers and sisters. This mission field has become a mission force. From whatever nation we’re from as followers of Jesus, let’s lock arms and give our lives to reaching all the nations together for the glory of Jesus.

Many of the places in the world where there is the most war and conflict are totally unreached by the gospel. Think about how hard that makes spreading the gospel in those places. And yet how urgent it is to spread the gospel in those places.
