@genuinearticles Gemini cli is incredibly generous in free mode and actually quite good. My toolkit for dev is as follows: Claude for most coding tasks Codex Also viable but i like claudes thorough documentation style better otherwise awesome for research and spec Gemini for low hanging fruit

Google is winning the AI race. Most people haven't noticed yet. But the reason is surprisingly simple. How can I be so sure of this? - It's not because they have the most data. - It's not because they have the most money. It's because they are the only ones who don't seem scared of the competition. If you watch how the companies behave, the difference is obvious. Many AI companies spend more time criticizing rivals than shipping. - Launching narratives. - Picking fights. - Trying to win on tribalism instead of merit. Google doesn't do that. They just keep shipping. - New models. - New tools. - New research. Half the time they barely even market it. And when competitors release something great Google engineers don't attack it. They congratulate it. They show how those models can even work with Google tools. That is what real confidence looks like. This is not a paid post. Just an observation. Don't underestimate the quiet confidence of the 800lb gorilla.

Claude may have all the hype, but each AI has strengths and weaknesses. Make sure you choose the right tool for the job. For example, when generating images for an article, these are the results I got with the same prompt on Claude vs. Grok.

@Yuchenj_UW I don’t let Claude Code on my codebase. It’s all codex. Would be too buggy with Opus.

Grok 4.20 is BASED. The only AI that doesn’t equivocate when asked if America is on stolen land. The others are weak sauce.

If you don’t like ICE then you can’t call 911 when you’re in trouble If you don’t respect law enforcement agents then you shouldn’t depend on them When Billie Eyelash gets her home broken into it’s not gonna be f-ck ICE I can promise you that
