Turning a hobby into something far beyond my wildest dreams was definitely NOT on my bucket list! A completely different feeling. The family WhatsApp groups are absolutely blowing up right now! Huge thank you to everyone who made this happen. ❤️ Link : youtube.com/watch?v=3OEwQK…

The World Cup is over, but football doesn't stop here If you've spent the last month supporting a national team, consider following a club in #IndianFootball The standard may be different, but every packed stand, every chant and every young player chasing a dream deserves support

@playmakerind The “distraction” he’s referring to is most probably the results and the wins. Football at the U15 and other age group levels HAS to be about development. Not results. Winning a tournament at that level means nothing if 5 years later those players are nowhere.

Exactly sir, some people lack basic sense here :)
Steve Herbots@HerbotsSteve

@playmakerind The younger you start, the better. We started on an elite program from the age of 8. And they now play at top levels in the world. And we have done it in many different countries. But here it is much more difficult to convince people about necessary change.

@agarw54937 Exactly Bhai, Deko at the end your 14-15 given the stage, then promoted to u17 indian NT who at least play 30-40 games locally and 10-12 games internationally per year can do something, now this festival thing will surely give a boost be it 7a side or 9 a side,it's doesn't matter

Kya Musa bhai tum bhi Richard Hood is working silently Let him work and his approach is not wrong Grassroots are meant to develop kids so that they graduate and become better players in senior Him,Tete and RFDL has done amazing job in Naupang League We need more of Naupang League in India than this exposure tour Even if it's exposure tour try to get invitation on merit like Sudeva.

@agarw54937 @IndianFootball Indian coaches and their mentality! Results don't matter in grassroot but it's not a distraction ffs

I don’t need to stand in the mud to know the pitch is flooded. If your defense of the status quo is that U15 football relies on age fraud and physical bullying to get results, you’ve accidentally agreed with me.
Arka@ArkaTweets1

Who are you to comment on Richard Hood's mentality? And what do you know about India's grassroots football? In India, the U15 levels are all about age fraud, physically overpowering opponents to win and taking shortcuts. Come work here on the grassroots or kindly refrain.
