Looking ahead to the finals from a Spanish perspective, I think it makes sense to start both Fabian and Pedri alongside Rodri.
You don’t want to give Argentina a big numerical superiority in that midfield.
Very unlikely DLF will change things, but Argentina are very unique with how their midfield takes shape, and going in with just two genuine midfielders opens up the space for them to get into the game more than they probably should.
