To celebrate Bamby's birthday, a donation has been made to Trees for the Future (TREES). This nonprofit organization trains and works with farming communities to promote sustainable agroforestry, helping restore forests while improving food security and livelihoods across five countries in sub-Saharan Africa where the effects of climate change and economic challenges are most pressing. According to its 2025 Impact Report, the organization has planted over 420 million trees, partnered with 63,767 farmers, and is helping restore more than 40,000 hectares of land since 1989.
🌐 As a UN World Restoration Flagship, TREES is part of the “UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration”, a global effort to restore ecosystems and combat climate change.
