O que aconteceu ontem é gravíssimo e revela uma escalada preocupante no discurso de ódio e na caricaturização de pessoas trans e travestis. Um apresentador, em plena TV aberta, se sente autorizado a ridicularizar e debochar de toda uma comunidade que já vive historicamente sob estigma e ódio. Não recuaremos, não desistiremos e não aceitaremos ser violentadas de forma tão baixa. Já adotamos medidas judiciais, estamos nos mobilizando nas redes e articulando uma série de iniciativas para termos um ambiente mais seguro e respeitoso para as mulheres também na televisão. Enviei uma carta e entrei em contato com a Presidenta do SBT, Daniela Abravanel, buscando um diálogo sobre a necessidade de medidas a serem adotadas pelas emissoras. Ela me atendeu prontamente, conversamos, e reforçou que as declarações do apresentador Ratinho não representam a opinião do SBT. O SBT fez parte da história de minha família. Era o canal que minha avó assistia. Eu não perdia um episódio de A Usurpadora, gostava de Chaves e Chapolin. Sempre gostei da televisão. Por isso espero que avançemos e farei tudo que estiver ao meu alcance para termos ambientes seguros para todas as mulheres em quaisquer espaços que elas estejam.
