@PALADlNSTRAIT I think ppl know they are professing Christians and some of their songs deal with their struggles. It’s not a “Christian” band & on purpose, he says in many songs, he doesn’t feel he has what it takes to tell people who follow, just to stay alive is the message.

when will people realise that twenty one pilots are genuinely not a christian band? they’re a band and the members are christian. they don’t make their theming christian, the don’t go out of their way to appeal to other christians. there’s a massive difference.

Genuinely why are Twenty One Pilots so popular and niche at the same time? Like I actually need an answer, what are your theories?

@RebelRedTrees In otherwords, I think they rose to fame by the fans alone. (Which in my opinion it was God who gave them the message and us who recieved it) because they are not writing songs about love, lust, drugs, anger, etc. it is about the struggles of our ownselves.

@RebelRedTrees My theory: their music is niche their message is niche/their behavior is niche (they aren’t party boys)/their concerts are niche. I personally think they got through the gatekeepers of the industry. If the industry knew what they were, they would not have signed them. IMHO.

@Tyler_noseph What? I might be biased, BUT everyone else was “entertainment” theirs was actual art and TWO musicians on stage making you feel like it was a symphony. It was so good they didn’t need half naked dancers to distract the audience, because the song stands on its own.
