@plotsklapps
I'm a Flutter & Dart enthusiast. No RGB keyboards or 42inch widescreens. Just me and my laptop at the dinner table (usually with a great whisky).

@drcoderz @FlutterDev Hahaha LOL. Let's try Expanded now. Oh, wait, should've used Flexible. Oh, wait or was it Flex? And what does Wrap do? Maybe I should remove SingleChildScrollView? Every, single, time 🥲

Don't worry about the 1,000 widgets you don't know yet; you’ll spend 90% of your life fighting with the same three Rows and Columns anyway 🤣 @FlutterDev #flutternoobs

Hey @Firebase! 👋
Somebody inside Google figured out how to do usage and spending caps on projects.
Can I maybe haz that on Firebase too?
Yes, yes. 🔥

English

@xclusivecyborg That's awesome 🙏 Thank you so much, I'll be sending out dm's soon!

@plotsklapps Willing to test. Lemme know how it works

This is a screen recording of the initial app load time and the optimized version.
Initial version VS optimized version
Abdulkabir Adekanye@_KanyeDev
I optimized my Flutter app performance and reduced the app load/open speed from over 10 secs ( yeah got a lot going on) to less than 1 sec. Details soon.

@SuprDeclarative @intellijidea I'm on Panda 2 and noticed serious regression as well. Need to invalidate cache and restart more often than I'd like to. Analyzer freezes, sometimes can't even run flutter clean properly 🤷♂️
English

For over a decade I've relied on @intellijidea Android Studio to have a dozen projects open for as long as I wanted, no problem. Now, 2 projects open for 2 days the whole thing becomes a laggy buggy mess. Can't scroll smoothly in the editor, can't type in the terminal 🤬
Matt Carroll@SuprDeclarative
What happened to Android Studio? How do I get rid of this awful lag that happens in the code editor and the terminal? I avoided upgrading for a long time and now I get this.

@TahaTesser Too bad I can only do the tinkering on the 13.3 inch laptop 😂

@RealProductGirl Date is set april 1st. Need 12 testers and I've put out an email to colleagues and friends today. Got 3 positive reactions instantly. This time it's going to happen 💪 Actually think it's a great freaking app

@plotsklapps MVP1 is always so incredibly difficult. Trying to figure out the core problem to solve without it getting bloated and then tech debt sets in.
English

@RydMike It is, although it's clearly not well trained on Nostr stuff yet 🤯 We're getting there though! I LOVE this part of the process, I keep puking out ideas and hate needing to sleep 😂
English

@DrShift3 It's been a great ride thusfar, already had some experience from building cosanostr.app, but keeping this fully private and just utilizing the nostr bits that I really need is quite a challenge. Will check out your tool if I can use it!
English

@plotsklapps wow great mate. i will follow up the progress. apps looks promising.
We have lately built something to focus on your app rather then deep diving the protocoll itself. its free as npm package
nostr-core.netlify.app

@HarveyAptx Oh yeah, it counts hh:mm, not ss, because I don't see the point in recording workouts under 1 minute?
English

@plotsklapps I meant, after I start the timer (top left)
Then stop it and save the workout, let's say 10 seconds passed, the workout is saved but the time still shows 00:00

@RealProductGirl You are going to love flutterflow.io
Drag & drop, create/connect variables using UI and preview your work with hot reload.
Perfect tool for non-coders 💙

I've been getting flooded with suggestions on how to start building and honestly? The amount of AI tools out there right now is OVERWHELMING.
I started with Lovable but I'm getting some pushback on it and at the rate I'm burning through credits… I'm clearly open to pivoting 😅
So I'm asking YOU:
What's your #1 pick for someone with ZERO coding experience who wants to build without getting lost in the weeds?
Drop it below 👇 and tell me WHY it actually works for beginners.
