There was this one girl in New York who I scared really bad. She was significantly fat, like a real life character from Glee. I couldn’t believe it, I do so much worse — and this girl had read “all of worst boyfriend ever” … how is this such a big deal? I swear, the subject is usually having a lot of fun when we play like this, when I hold her down and tease her like a sibling. But Brenda here was not having any fun at all. She was loudly saying STOP STOP LET ME GO WTF and not in a cute funny way, which is why Jean Baptiste soon woke up and asked: “Thomas what are you doing..? Let her go man..” I was like GO BACK TO SLEEP IT’S FINE — he seemed to be in a half dream state anyway. I couldn’t believe it all. I was having less and less fun failing to make her smile so eventually I did just let her get up so she could stand at the side of the bed and scorn me. “I CANT BELIEVE YOU JUST DID THAT — I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS, OH MY GOD, AND YOU’RE GONNA WRITE ABOUT IT — I JUST..” it was that fake-half-anger girls get when they are relishing this excuse to be a victim. I felt bad for her. I worried she’s never had a guy come on to her like that ever in her entire life, and subconsciously she’s taking it to the bank. In a rare moment of regret, I messaged her the next day on X the everything app saying “I am sorry I scared you.” - only half-meaning it. She did not reply, and went on to tell people all sorts of horrible things about me, for reasons I will never fully understand, because you can’t fully know a person or their motivations really, and in the end I’m still Worst Boyfriend Ever and so when you get into bed with me what did you think was gonna happen. What did you expect, Brenda. In retrospect I feel nothing at all. And I’m not sorry, I take it back. I have done so much worse to so many other girls, in that month specifically, and you read about it every week. Cry me a river.
