Update/Wildfire : A dangerous USA Bill drafted to punish Canada that reads like a declaration of War : 1- Seize assets of Prime Minister Carney, Cabinet ministers, and any individual they deem responsible for the "smoke". 2- It imposes travel bans, diplomatic penalties on the Canadian government and Canadian officials 3-Federal agencies could be prohibited from buying goods or services from the Canadian government. 4- The U.S. Export-Import Bank would stop financing exports to the Canadian government. 5-American banks could be prohibited from lending money to the Canadian government. 6-Americans could be prohibited from buying newly issued Canadian government debt. 7-Americans could be barred from making new investments in Canadian government-owned companies. 8- It declares many Canadian diplomats persona non grata (unwelcome), potentially requiring Canada to recall them. Never has such an aggressive bill towards Canada been drafted. If you ever doubted the USA wants to annihilate Canada economically, think again.
