Its not easy living in London for many reasons. One thing I struggle with every single day, is dealing with the societal decline of manners & politeness. I rant & rage on here, but in rl, I'm known for my politeness & good manners, even in situations in which I'd be forgiven..

@plumbmark2 Well, its reputation improved & good ofsted reports. It's was our 3rd choice. It was awful there

st.Aloyisus was a pain in the arse school in the 80s sad to hear things haven’t got any better 😢 I can get to Hampstead heath/parliment hill in half an hour from here ❤️😎 likewise I can get up town in half an hour, soon as I get my over 60s Oyster card I’ve vowed to get out a bit more as there some bits of london I haven’t seen yet 🤓🤓🤓

@plumbmark2 Some parts are nice there. My son did year 7 in St.Aloyisius college, which is near there. It really wasn't nice there though. I took him out & home schooled him

@plumbmark2 I agree with all of that. Not just my home either, but that of my ancestors. Its a terrible way to think, but part of me feels that I'd be letting them down if I left. As an Arsenal fan, you're not from Islington or Camden are you?

I get that, I think if one has lived in london for as long as we have, we move and can adapt accordingly. Thing is I love london as it’s my home 🙄 We have a lot of fantastic architecture and open spaces, which I should take more time to look at 🤓🤓 And I love my football (Arsenal)

I get why some have abandoned london .. truthfully if I had of been in a position to move out I would’ve have 🤷🏼‍♂️ All my mates and family have moved away 😢 Gentrification has played a part in cleansing in London of the working classes ! But we know the real reason a lot have moved out 🫩
