Enjoying peace and tranquility in a nearby nature area, the Ria Formosa. It's always easy for me to relax, feel connected and nourished when being there. The vibration of the salt water that is constantly moving, the birds, the plants, all is harmonious and pure.

As i'm in a kind of dark place right now due to the dissapearance of my beloved cat companion i was remembered once again that there are many hooking on's especially emotionally and mentally. What is to do? Flooding, a lot of flooding.

Water and fire are very present in my life. i use fire to cook and warm my space since decades. And in recent times i get my drinking water from a source and live near the ocean. But gold and money, uh. i need to make peace with that. i'll see what unfolds doing the washing.

Stones and especially gem stones attracted me a long time. i had many many of them. i still have some left like this Kyanite. A gorgeous stone that reminds me of heaven, water, stars, meteorites, clarity and guidance. So it invited me to use it for my SIR 'suwa' drawing.

Oh yes, the war within can show up in many forms. i've experienced one of them the last week as i visited my very unhealthy mother who lost the war and is eaten up alive by fear and worry. A ghost in a shell. It was her choice. Gladly i walk a different path.

Watching Misogi, oh i felt the pure icyness of the water. Remembering lying in a cold mountain stream, so fresh, so alive, the whole body prickling but so relaxed in my depth. Oh, this was pure joy. The sea is calling me.

As myths and legends as well as Japan are what i love drawing the SIR ocean gate was a pure pleasure. i also referenced my experience with the alchemy of water and fire within (due to my Taoist past). Oh, this live current. How delicious it is.

A wonderful drawing

The form i've outlined for the time of the red sun SIR drawing is an eucalyptus leaf, a highly disputed tree in Portugal. When i did the drawing i realised the dolphins emerging. How nicely nature is always related in a way.
