Chinese courts have ruled that gaming accounts, in-game items, and digital purchases can be passed on to family after death, setting a major legal precedent for digital ownership. The decisions come from several court cases over the years, with judges ruling that these digital assets have real value and should be treated like other property. In one recent case, a mother was allowed to inherit her late son’s 87 gaming accounts. The courts also ruled that platform terms of service cannot automatically block inheritance if the law permits it. However, personal data such as private messages and chat history remain protected and are not included.

I am so glad that in the West we don't worship our leaders and believe everything they say. I a Gen Xer and we raised ourselves to distrust anything anyone said without researching it for ourselves. Imagine a world where you believe politicians like they some messianic leader spouting holy edicts from their politic seats. Sadly, that's what those who spread Chinese leadership forget that their own leaders suppressed anything to do with 1989 Tiananmen Square protests and massacre, like it never happened and are to happy to not even question it, or even ask about it. (I actually studied this in high school as a young teenager in NZ when it took place). Its' real easy to stick your head in the sand when raising it means being locked up or imprisonment. But, they are too quick to paint the West as evil, when you can actually research just about any atrocity in the West right now and no government would stop you or arrest, unless they are communists.

Keep believing you own propaganda. It won;t the facts. Like how many died the past week during the floods and dam collapses. Was it 29 people? or, 12900? I mean unlike here where can post anything lie you want. But, a quick search shows that: Spite homes: Hundreds to low thousands of well-documented cases over the years. They get a lot of attention online because they are visually dramatic and symbolize resistance. Forced demolitions without proper permission: Tens of thousands per year at the peak (especially 2000–2015). Some estimates from Chinese lawyers and rights groups suggested 1–2 million forced evictions/demolitions over the last 15–20 years. Thus proving my point. See how that works. Propaganda is a nice tool when you have billions to spend on it but not much on your own citizens wellbeing... For 1 'spite homes' there are a 1000 homes that are wiped out. So, I don't you argument has any merit cuase the numbers speak for themselves. Not, to mention these are ancestral homes that used to stand for centuries. Communism destroys all that stands in it's way. I am surprised you don't even mention the cities, towns and villages only this past week wiped our from existence due to CCP negligence.
