I keep seeing people saying this trope is overdone but I literally never see it. I can't name an example. Are we talking canon or shipping headcanons?

And female villains did have scenes like this all the time. There are so many scenes that are like "Please let me live I'll do anything you want" where it's implied that sex work is included. There's just not a ton of modern examples because that fucking sucks and who wants that

Male villains become icons for hateful men so these scenes are written in a way to dissuade people from championing them, which isn't as much an issue with female villains who don't directly impact real life the same way
