Holy fuck guys we’re not "pushing hard" for or replacing concept artists with AI. We have a team of 72 artists of which 23 are concept artists and we are hiring more. The art they create is original and I’m very proud of what they do. I was asked explicitly about concept art and our use of Gen AI. I answered that we use it to explore things. I didn’t say we use it to develop concept art. The artists do that. And they are indeed world class artists. We use AI tools to explore references, just like we use google and art books. At the very early ideation stages we use it as a rough outline for composition which we replace with original concept art. There is no comparison. I talked about how we use ML here if you would like to know more: gamespot.com/articles/baldu… We've hired creatives for their talent, not for their ability to do what a machine suggests, but they can experiment with these tools to make their lives easier.

We don't charge for consults of sub 1hr. If it's more than an hour, that's called dev work. I see people offering paid consultations on #TTRPG design for single 1 hour sessions. What is happening in that time that provides value? If you have/would pay, what is it worth?

FYI @printninja US has blown their timelines on near all #TTRPGs we have sent them, printed 2 projects the incorrect size, failed to send us shipping info 50% the time & offered little accountability Their line is “we cannot be accountable…” Which is correct They won’t be

@philipjreed @PrintNinja We gave the a lot of projects over the last few months to be thorough, the slight savings are not worth the frustration. Especially now that mixam prices have bounced down to about the same. Trying to find a better local option in PHilly

While I (Tony) have had very bad historical experiences w/ @gamefound.bsky.social I met w/2 of their team members today who were honest, able to own a lot of the issues, & who seem genuinely interested in improving GF. I was impressed by their candor & desire to listen.

I MADE A GAME AND FORGOT TO POST ABOUT IT FOR 6 MONTHS!

Last year at Gencon I got to meet up with the people at @plusoneexp and they wanted to publish GORE! It Came out in December as part of the Monthly Zine Club (which you should subscribe to) but is now available on their website! It was such an awesome experience working with them
