A week around the Port. So much happening. Heavy lift project cargo, Jack up Barges, 20 pilotage moves, Amy Jane dredging in Padstow, project Emma launch, @turntostarboard tall ships on the BLS, and a first for Plymouth with the first ever arrival of Wheat imported into the city.

After an 0230 start, the marine and pilotage teams kept operations moving overnight, sailing the Atlantic Wind, berthing Superiority and Skylift 2, and supporting tug CT Prenton. All rounded off by a beautiful sunrise over the port. Supporting Plymouth and the wider SW peninsula.

Very cold start to the day afloat but saw this. Sea smoke is a type of fog, also called steam fog, that forms when extremely cold air moves over much warmer water, causing moisture to rapidly evaporate, rise, and condense into visible mist or fog, creating smoke-like plumes.
