A great initative by @ABSStats, not only does it save researchers time, but it creates a standard citation so that statistics can be correctly attributed to the source data. Hopefully other statistical agencies will follow. @ONS

@petesivey Interesting question of what rate we should use to index the cost per QALY threshold?

I've always thought it's hard to define "healthcare inflation" meaningfully. Healthcare is very labour-intensive so most of the cost of an additional unit (eg another consultation or operation) is directly proportional to the pay rates of doctors/nurses.

@Tube_of_Sand @C__Kronenberg It's a big of a "market for lemons" as very hard for the customers (policymakers) to assess quality of research, so they will accept low quality with lots of buzzwords etc.
