Early first-round leader Maverick McNealy shot 67 Thursday at TPC Sawgrass with one of his Odyssey Toulon blade putters. McNealy tried out a mallet a few weeks ago at the Genesis and had his worst putting week of the season in an MC. He reinserted the blade last week and finished T13 with a middling performance on the greens. Today he gained nearly 2 strokes putting, 10th in the field right now. The specific blade he went back to is the same one he used to win the 2024 RSM Classic. Blades aren't dead yet. @Fully_Equipped

Every time a golfer's playoff record gets brought up I can't help but think of the Steelers. Akshay is only 24 and already has three playoff wins. Meanwhile, the Steelers have 0 since the 2016 season.
