Ie unreached tribes etc, I’d think that the weight of one’s knowledge is also the weight of judgement. But anyone in any form of the modern world has been given a chance at hearing the gospel

i've always said that children getting blood cancer is definitive proof that god doesnt exist or at least, isnt watching over us. And they say oh no, all the bad things are cuz of the Devil. Ok but God could stop the devil right, so, same problem, God is an absent or dead or nonexistant father figure. I refuse to worship a deity who knowingly allows children to die of cancer, and if said deity would damn you to hell for that, then he's the evil one. I'd rather be damned to hell than worship a tyrant. That said, I think religion is perfectly fine for those that it helps, if it helps you become a better person, if it gives you peace, those are all good things; my above point still stands, but im not hating on religion, we all get to choose.

@PresbyPilgrim The word church doesn't even show up in the Bible. The new testament tells us to have fellowship, but doesn't articulate that we should go to a building and have a service.
