@tommy_ecom @MattReinholz @WooCommerce That said, we regularly revisit past decisions, and we'll keep the community informed if we move toward enabling purchases directly from the admin. Tommaso, thanks for sharing your feedback. It helps us shape future improvements.

European merchants have to figure out localization to scale effectively across Europe. We have different languages, currencies, and cultures that an online shop needs to adjust for. However, for e-commerce, there's one bureaucratic discipline that's surprisingly much simpler here in Europe compared to the US. You heard right: Europe less beaurocratic and less complex regulation than the US. Sounds impossible but it's actually true in this particular discipline. In Europe we have a manageable number of "sales tax" rates that many merchants can handle with a static list. Also, in the EU, we have the One Stop Shop so that you can file and pay all EU VAT conveniently in your business' home country. In the US, there are more than 12,000 (!) different sales and use tax jurisdictions. When I first heard about that complexity to sell online across the US, I couldn't believe it. I had always thought of the US as one unified big market.

One strategy for European merchants to tackle this situation is to double down on selling within Europe. 🇪🇺️ The language barriers here have always been a hassle compared with the much more consistent English-speaking market of the US. European shoppers prefer to buy in their local language. English doesn't scale well for many niches. x.com/MattReinholz/s…

@SorarePITTI I believe that the product will continue appealing to hardcore sports fans and gamblers, but that audience doesn’t seem to be large enough to create a healthy top of funnel and retention rate

@SorarePITTI Yeah I get that. I’m a football fan and when the ROI had a medium/high potential I was almost a power user. Nowadays I’m a very casual user, as I don’t want to spend more than a few mins week in something with low ROI and tend to follow their decisions due to professional curiosi

looks like annual stacks will eventually be a thing of the past, but I’ll enjoy them as long as it lasts btw, I think I’m going to like the new capped tournaments with targets. let’s see improving the product, game (more fun) and app (less pain), is key to convince me to spend

@SorarePITTI Considering that the cards price will keep dropping, do you think the product still has a compelling ROI and opportunity cost?

Accept it, cards were going to zero anyway If it does not work out, a good use of my time will be to build a bot to sell all my cards (except Vanaken 1/10 and Owusu 1/100 from 2018-2019) at any price It will be fairly obvious to everyone when I have stopped believing…

I feel in love with Portugal many years ago when I found out about a post-meal traditional dish—Prego. It's essentially a steak sandwich for dessert. I've found my people!

@andrewmlaird Great show. I’d like to know more about staying out of Champion Europe. At least at the rare level the mid-tier prices seem to similar to Challenger and the same happens with the number of points to get a tier3 and tier2. Thanks

@andrewmlaird It was a surprising defeat. First time that Sporting suffered 3 goals this season. Santa Clara has some talented players

I mentioned on today's Sorare GW 234 strategy review show that there were only 150 lineups in Challenger Europe Rare that had five players with matches and no common card. That list includes the guys crossed out on this list. #Sorare youtube.com/watch?v=LuRbAy…

Depending on the exact card i draw this afternoon, this 1st place will pay out 2-5 average month salaries. And this happens to some @sorareHQ manager twice a week. Mind boggling.

⚽️🇺🇸 MLS is back 🇺🇸 ⚽️ THREAD with the injury report I could find before the #Sorare Deadline #GW210 🧐⤵️ - Consider all the players who played for the national team as "questionable", even more the South Americans ⁉️ - Ask your questions ❓ Cheers to @SorareUsa, enjoys Mexico !

@pmcpinto Steeve Clark will be without a contract at the end of the season, and this is always an element of uncertainty. He is an old goalkeeper, who tends to get injured regularly. He's having a pretty good season, I don't know if that will be enough to keep him as a full time starter.

Investing in a goalkeeper on #Sorare is often a source of stress. As the end of the #MLS season approaches, many are wondering about the future of the GK starters for next year. I will try to make a review with different categories to evaluate the risk. THREAD 🇺🇸⚽️🧐👇 1/8

At work, you can do 3 things with time: 1) elongate it (work more hours) 2) save it (work efficiently) 3) leverage it (work on stuff that matters) So having kids is great because you rapidly hit the limits of the first two & out of desperation force yourself to get good at #3
