I am starting to think that Pakistan (maybe from Chinese inspiration?) gave two totally different ceasefire conditions to Iran and USA, so they could both declare victory, deescalate, and then "we will see what happens, maybe everyone will forget". Or maybe those conditions were so blurred and general that there could be countless interpretations. Anyway, assuming neither side is lying about the ceasefire, so assuming Trump didn't sign his unconditional capitulation and Iran didn't get betrayed by reformists - I don't see the other explanation to a differences in official statements when it comes to Lebanon and nuclear enrichment. I would not be surprised if this deal doesn't last even a day. This ceasefire just feels to unnatural, signed in a moment were there were no signs of any of the parties losing interest in the war (both official statements and 'anonymous officials leaks' didn't seem to point towards such unexpected ceasfire). Minsk-1 for the Middle East?

More worrisome is the fact those threats were one of the main channel where both sides were declaring their goals. I am not saying Iran should fight forever, I just feel ceasefire at this point of war doesn't feel natural. It feels pushed by someone too fast and too unexpectedly. Just like someone would like to surrender immediately. It feels either like treason/naivety inside Iranian side, like off-ramp for Trump or like a huge misunderstanding by both sides were each one understands conditions differently. Maybe all of them.
