@brianmccormick AAU makes it cheap to get on a team, but the door fees make up for it.

@MJones5onit @allthedogspleaz I think it’s the transfer portal that fans hate much more than players getting paid. Put a salary cap like the NFL has where every team is on the same playing field and there are cap repercussions for bad choices and I think it would be far more enjoyable.

@allthedogspleaz The athletes are actually the ones that entertain us. Not the coaches administrators, universities or conferences. But we liked it better when they took advantage of the athletes says a lot about us.

NIL and the transfer portal have killed everything we love about college sports. The teams and sports we all grew up loving will never be the same.

@SPathf1nder1 @Andy___Ferguson @allthedogspleaz It might be more fair and more legally correct when considering players/universities, but the actual competition is LESS fair because money is the factor which decides who succeeds more than coaching/recruiting/development. Fans feel detached from teams and will watch less games.

@Andy___Ferguson @allthedogspleaz NIL leveled the playing field. The NCAA has been making money off these players since the beginning of time. Now all of a sudden, the players…Adults…Have a choice to come and go. Just like you. Just because it’s not the old school way, doesn’t make it bad. It’s just different.

@forgedmedicine @AJaneH111 @MidwesternDoc @VigilantFox Agree to disagree. It’s not just about what happens when they are exposed. It’s a risk benefit analysis that considers that, but also considers the actual number of children really helped by the vaccines as well as the potential side effects/damage that can be caused by it.

@AJaneH111 @MidwesternDoc @VigilantFox It’s not about how many are exposed today. It’s about what happens if they are. Adults clear Hep B most of the time. Newborns often don’t → much higher risk of lifelong infection. Same virus. Very different biology. That’s the whole point of vaccinating early.

We vaccinate a million newborns to prevent 1 case of Hep B. Even worse, the vax often causes autoimmune disease (it matches human nerves) and hasn't reduced hepatitis. Here I reveal why it got forced upon us and why Trump said this practice is a disgrace midwesterndoctor.com/p/why-is-every…

@OleBeeM @JoshuaBarzon Yeah, Jesus just happened to be born in Bethlehem, to a virgin, in the lineage of David & then went out & faked the 300 other prophecies, including the crucifixion. 🙄

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was foretold in the Old Testament scriptures with remarkable detail centuries before it took place.

@LauraLoomer Seems kind of foolish. Judge Christianity by the truth it follows, not by the fallen and flawed fools (ie all of us) who miserably fail at living out the tenets of that faith.

I’d rather be a die hard atheist than be a member of any Church that welcomes people like you and Candace to join its ranks. You use your phony religious grandstanding as a shield to harass grieving widows and you align with Islamists who want Sharia Supremacy. Atheism is more appealing than joining anything you claim to be a part of.
Carrie Prejean Boller@CarriePrejean1

You are so cruel. I pray you repent and give your life to Jesus Christ and find the Catholic Church. @RealCandaceO is a beautiful Catholic woman, wife, and mother. Stop with your racist, hateful, nasty, bigoted remarks. Christ is King.

@WisBasketballHQ Counterpoint: State basketball isn’t about entertaining the fans. It’s about the kids who earned their way there. It’s already much easier to make it to state in D1 with the smaller number of teams in that division. I don’t feel strongly either way though.

The Appleton North/Wisconsin Lutheran game was extremely entertaining and high level basketball. I forced myself to watch parts of the D5 games today. It's fine, but we do not need 8 D5 teams at state. 4 more D1 teams, and more play like the last game, yes please.

@darwintojesus So many people not understanding that a self defeating argument (as demonstrated) only applies to the side supporting those applicable premises. In short……they’re missing the point.

Since you don’t understand, let me make this simple for you. No pass catcher has ever had their career best szn playing with Kyler. Not one, in fact it’s the opposite. They all played better w/o him. Statistically, How could they? He doesn’t throw for a lot of yardage or TDs. How do you debate this?

@BuxtonSZN @MattImig There are zero college bound players that are regularly playing games with possessions exceeding 35 seconds so it doesn’t hinder development at all. That makes it a question of style and preference. I don’t personally enjoy that, but it isn’t NEEDED, just WANTED.

@pmfarley21 @MattImig Because at every level above HS, there is a shot clock. 32 states and the district of Columbia have it. It is a no-brainer. It forces teams to play ball and not just hold it so we don't end up with 4-2 playoff games

@MammothBB @ColtonWilson23 Can definitely sympathize with being the smallest school in the conference. A lot of people don’t fully grasp the challenges of a small school. You’ve certainly done a great job managing though!

@pmfarley21 @ColtonWilson23 Big East is among the most "difficult" to make all-conf. in the entire state. There are 15 slots, but coaches only get 10 votes. Not surprisingly, order of finish is a relevant factor. EL is the smallest in the conf. (3 schools are twice our size including a few "urban" privates)
