Could someone point me to the source of the quip to the extent that Zhu Xi, appearing in front of Confucius, would not be able to understand a single word because of the language changing completely? Did @ZevHandel post something in this vein?

International Dunhuang Programme
IDP turns 29 today! 🎂 🥳 In the past year alone, our Projects have added 20,000 images to our free online database, bringing the total to over 580,000. And with a new website launching soon, we are excited to make these #SilkRoad resources even more accessible to all.

@LitteraCarolina Just a note, but Fountains Abbey is in the centre of England, quite a way from the coast, so the sealskin would have had a reasonably long journey from wherever it was sourced. I would guess from the east cost, perhaps from the area around Whitby Abbey.

Brexiters now worry about the judgment of history. New post on my Brexit & Beyond Blog analyses the recent spate of Brexiter anxiety about Brexit realities, the conundrum this poses for Johnson, and why it matters so much to Brexiters - and to all of us: chrisgreybrexitblog.blogspot.com/2022/01/brexit…

RT if you feel really terrified about the political direction our country is heading in. I’m curious to see how widespread this feeling is.

Seeking a common collective term for () [] {} and similar. In math typesetting, we call them delimiters, but I am wondering what term would be more intuitively understandable in the context of typical text and users?
