Have known Nick on and off on here for over 10 years. Never once seen him tweet anything like this. Never once see him do anything for personal attention. Largely spends his time on here advocating for disabled people and their rights. One of the good ones, someone people should be following - though he can be cranky at times! So he's putting this out in good faith. And I believe it too.

I would rather NOT have a player who screwed us over in the summer and took the £ in Jan rather than stick to HIS word and see out his Palace contract till the end of the season. @davidlynchlfc Agree Dave. It’s a poor league - was last year too TBH. We lack physicality & aggression. Had that with previous midfields & Mane/Diaz. We have 6 ft+ players in Grav & Gakpo but don’t use their physical traits anywhere near enough. Same with Isak & Hugo, gifted 💯 not aggressive

Liverpool have given up a lot of attacking thrust to solidify themselves in recent weeks and so you felt they were always running the risk of one of these games happening. A three-point cushion in fourth place is a positive but this was a disappointing result.

Worst league title defences in living memory: Leeds 92/93 - 17th, Leicester 16/17 - 12th, Chelsea 15/16 - 10th. We are on target for a poor title defence from a “big 5” team… no serial winning mentality as discussed on many a Daily Red pod @HendrickD82.

We haven’t defended a league title like champions since the 1980s. This title defence is on par with a Leicester, Leeds or Blackburn - happy to win one. We don’t have the mentality to be serial winners… and clearly with £450m spent, you can’t buy that mentality

Very poor performance on the whole, but all that counts is how many times you score, so you'll take the points, prize money and progression. Wouldn't say many stood out, Waller aside. #CreweAlex
