why's this so normalised?? people are underestimating how much trust they’re giving coding agents right now. if Claude/Codex can: - read your filesystem - run bash - access network - modify code then your .env is basically part of the agent context unless you explicitly sandbox it. and there are already multiple reports/issues around agents reading secrets or bypassing naive deny rules.
