Punjab National Bank linked someone else’s NEW bank account to MY phone number without my OTP, consent, or verification. I started receiving transaction alerts, debit card updates, and even courier calls for their ATM card. When I complained, they didn’t properly fix the issue. They just disabled the SMS alerts. As part of this collaboration, PNB has been onboarded as a lending partner under the GeM Sahay initiative. On behalf of the organisations, Sh. Ajit B. Chavan, Additional CEO and Chief Seller Officer, GeM, and Sh. Atish Kumar Rout, GM - DBTD, PNB, signed the MoU.
