Damn looks like the Netherlands is going down the same road as Norway did.
Over the last 6 years, Norway introduced a bunch of tax reforms (even more before, but they got way more aggressive since the 2020s). Their founders were hit with tax bills on paper valuations they hadn’t cashed out. So in practice this meant that founders had to pay taxes on how much their business was worth on paper, even though they hadn’t actually made any money/ sold any of it.
As a result, this strained liquidity, pushed many entrepreneurs ((and young talent!)) to move abroad, harmed investment, competitiveness, risk -taking etc. At least 10% of Norwegian businesses relocated due to these policies. These kinds of restrictive policies don’t prevent wealth inequality like they claim, they just limit job growth and cause long term harm. And its frustrating to see these kinds of outdated measures in 2026.
Anyways good luck to anyone trying to build anything these days.

Noticing changes in X algorithm lately: > delayed reach: posts get more impressions 6-12+ hours later, it used to be more immediate > check your messages: discovered i have 20+ unreads bc i'm not getting notifications for "requests" (oops sorry, replying now) > algorithm sensitivity: if you click into one post on [topic] you'll see posts on that on next timeline refresh > seeing less crypto posts on my timeline (getting outside of crypto audience gives you more reach now) > replying to popular posts gets more impressions than native -and- helps you get more visibility > consistency matters, when you stop posting for 2-3+ days, the first one you do seems to do v poorly > however, posting consistently seems to also have less consistent reach then it used to, reach seems to be more volatile now whereas it used to be more predictable > need to optimize for bookmarks and qts to pop off

inside ct, everyone slowly starts to sound the same.
what actually makes you different is who you are outside of it:
– how you think
– what you care about
– your humour, taste, boundaries
– your life, interests, perspective
that’s the part most people leave out and that’s also the part people trust.
