4) Many folk say that education is important, but how many do we alienate in the process because “we live on an island and know about the sea”? Language and outreach matters.

Hearing multiple reports of people on paddleboards drifting out to sea doesn’t make anyone feel safe or confident. Why does this keep happening? A few thoughts in 🧵 1) There is absolutely no advice for people who may turn up at their local supermarket to buy a paddleboard ⬇️
