I have been critical of Mitch Barnhart in the past but I am not sure at this moment what he has done wrong He gave Calipari a public vow of support, Cal vowed to him they would turn things around. And Scott Drew said God told him to stay in Waco When he hires a coach, I think questioning that decision will be valid. But as of this moment, I am not sure what else he could have done differently in this search

@KySportsRadio Luckily we don't know who or why Mitch called. Knowing Wright and Barnes were so antiUK when they hired Cal isn't forgettable. I'm sure when Pitino was at Keeneland he had a drink with Mitch. I think he and Pearl, while stars, also have baggage which UK doesn't need now.

Said this last night and I’ll say it again: no one will embrace this job more than Mark Pope. He is a Wildcat through and through, super smart, runs a fun style, and I support him. But Mitch Barnhart did him no favors with the timing. To move on this so swiftly when other big names were on the table was bound to lead to backlash.

I'm Jewish, and in my youth I was what I considered a liberal, fightin' for women's rights, equality, an advocate for children and education, a cleaner world, and for defenseless animals. I believe I still support those same things, just not under the current status. I'm a registered Independent, but lean more Libertarian. I have voted Repulican a few times, and plan to 100% vote Trump in 2024. I don't trust the Democratic party at all, and have a few issues with the Republican party.
