Members are afraid to stand up or even demand transparency of spending. union president doesn’t even live in this state!

Melody… the Union is comprised of the teachers 🤦🏾‍♂️ when harmful rhetoric is spread, it impacts every teacher. Clearly we’re not the Union leaders and aren’t the ones calling the shots, but I promise you, if you see/hear the way most teachers are treated now-a-days you’d understand. Most parents just view teachers as babysitters in society today. The education rankings suck due to funding either being mismanaged, misused, or straight up stolen. The vast majority of teachers could get our reading and math statistics trending in a positive direction but almost all of us don’t have the resources to implement the programs needed for success. Admin have been directed to basically make sure students pass by any means, god forbid a teacher pushes back… so guess what, you end up with high school freshman who can’t read anywhere near their grade level or do mental math. Media like this villainizes teachers (and the unions they belong to) but they never stop to ask WHY or WHAT can be done to better help the students we serve.

How is it possible for this guy to absolutely destroy everyone in the spring classics and then come quite uncompetitive for stage wins in TdF, even on stages that could suit him like stage 9 and today's. His 22 and 23 TdFs had an explanation, but this year..??

My youngest is 19 - the days are long (when they are young) the years are short This is a great kid. Everybody loves him. He works incredibly hard, very disciplined, focused, goal driven, puts himself in uncomfortable situations, fails, tries again, he is loyal, he’s a helper, he’s kind, soft spoken but words carry weight. So much to love He’s also my riding partner :)

@podiumhunter @medicinexthings Alpecin is built around MVDP & his opinion counts for a lot, but as far as i know the team is owned by the brothers Roodhooft and i doubt an active rider owns shares of the team he is employed in

@sportsanalystbe @medicinexthings How much of Alpecin as a team does MDVP own? I could see him wanting to keep Jasper and taking a pay cut.

@medicinexthings I doubt he could say anything else, or his manager would not have the leverage to transform being 'best sprinter' turn into a financial lucrative deal. Since the bulk of the budget goes to MVDP i think he is currently underpaid. I do think he ends up staying with Alpecin
