Yeah bag appeal just doesn’t mean much at all because soooo much mid looks fire and some of the best weed looks the worst. Nose alone doesn’t matter bc plenty of trash smells great. Taste is subjective if you’re saying what you prefer, but talking about how a taste that you don’t like performs is much less subjective. Potency changes person to person and is freakishly subjective. And I never positioned our rule set for the masses, it is a strict set of rules carefully formulated to represent the pickiest connoisseurs, and the market that supports weed going for top dollar. With the amount of normal every day people getting the Zalympix box I could see bag appeal and nose being a much higher tangible score metric than I’ve previously assumed.

@B_Eazyllc I think what he’s talking about is brands throwing away 10k for the high rollers where there is no real seeding like a real tournament and the judges put you up against whoever they think would get the most clicks versus actually seeding the brackets.

I’m always a head of the curve. You know why? Math. This bubble will burst and I’ll be right in the end. I tried to help save it but of course no one can see past their nose. Brands will stop entering eventually because they can’t win. They will stop throwing money away. Once you get a win or 2, regardless of winning a bracket, the value needed is recieved. People will realize it doesn’t matter to win a bracket. The bubble bursts. Simple economics.

My whole thing with the ProperDoinks situation is this,if you don’t have the money to support your entire project you shouldn’t be doing it. They didn’t start the show by taking peoples money so i don’t see how it became a thing either smoke that shit for the love of the game or don’t but no one should be being taxed to have there weed on the show when it’s not free anyway.

@poesiatranscend @Drumrlzofficial In the high rollers, yes. In the normal brackets, we are paying them, and losing about a grand prize worth every bracket. And yes, people care about the flower, but that is partially due to the unique entertainment angle created using the ufc model.

I took the respectful way out but since proper Doinks is sending messages to Tenco I’ll address it, I tried to be classy. I left because I feel Proper Doinks taking an unlimited 20% cut off the top is a bit much. 32,000$ for this bracket. I suggested a 20,000$ cap. They took it personal and refused. At the rate these brackets are going there will be a 250k bracket and 500k bracket eventually, meaning they would take 50k and 100k off the top, As a businessman I can’t logically accept that. We are talking thousands and thousands of dollars. It started at 10%, then went to 15% and now an unlimited 20%.
