@mrmeizer although this method works better if the edge loop has an even number of vertices, and even better if its a multiple of 4

@mrmeizer there is an easy fix... u delete it, select the outer ring (with ctrl + click on blender), press ctrl f and click grid fill, it will work perfectly with a subdivision modifier!

@mrmeizer watch out for those when u can! for animation its important to have clean topology (if u plan to deform the model, to avoid shading issues), but if ur doing a multiple parts model with like a separate model for the head and arms and other stuff its fine lol

@mrmeizer no i mean in the model, a pole is where a vertex has anything other than 4 connections, which can create pinching in the shading, and some other problems when applying subdivision
