“are you sleepy baby girl?” he softly kissed her head and picked her up.

“i didn’t mean to, mia.” she said softly before sighing, going back to gently brushing her daughters hair when she looked back down at the phone.

“okay… only if you were behaving for your mom” he kissed her head and walked over to the table, pulling out a kids makeup set. “Since you love playing in your moms , I got you your own , bug!”

“i’m not pulling, mia. i’m being gentle, i promise.” she said softly as she pulled the brush away from mia’s hair, looking down at her daughter with a frown.

“you’re welcome.” she nodded, getting started on brushing mia’s hair while occasionally looking over her shoulder to watch the videos she was watching as well.

“What’s my little girl been doing?? have you been listening to your mom?… if so I may have bought you a surprise while I was gone.” smiling, he held her close in his arms.

she watched her prop herself up in her chair, chuckling again as she took her phone out of her pocket and unlocked it before handing it to mia. “here you go.”

she let her arms drop to her sides when mia turned to face her, chuckling softly at the sight of her messy blonde hair. “no pulling, i promise.” she reassured.
