@RebelDevil71 You could argue that the Irish authorities aren’t fit for purpose. Only a life time ban would fit the punishment required in this case. Anyone allowing this kind of treatment to horses should also be locked up and fined so heavily they haven’t got a pot to piss in.

Interesting the lack of outrage and coverage on media, traditional and social, to an actual welfare case in horse racing compared to an admittedly horrible optics case but not a welfare one. Really sums up the modern world. Optics trumps actuality all day long

@mp_horseracing The biggest plus since the pandemic is that jockeys can only ride one meeting per day. This has given lads who are good enough chance to shine. Jimmy Bowen is a classic case. By far the best jockey at Seven Barrows . On the flat it’s Cam Hardy- different gravy
