okay so this is how results are looking like right now for this particular client i promise i'd show you guys what i'm doing to get them to 10k per day so here goes; STEP 1: IDENTIFY EXACTLY WHO WE'RE TARGETING >> I sat down with the founder and asked him this question. His response was comical.. "people with dogs" >> After a 10 minute discussion of me trying to explain to him that "people with dogs CAN'T BE his demographic and that it was too broad, he come up with this... People with dogs who live in apartments (these people leave their dogs at home in the apartment when they go to work) Fantastic - we've niched it down and now we know EXACTLY who we're targeting STEP 2: FIND PEOPLE WHO FIT THIS AVATAR TO FILM CONTENT FOR US >> Once we found this person, we asked her a series of questions (short, simple questions that would then help us formulate a story-line for this ad) >> The questions we asked were things like "What time do you leave for work" "What happens when you do leave? Does your dog cry? "When you get home, is your house destroyed or does your dog behave in a certain way?" "What have you tried in the past" etc.. you get the drill STEP 3: CREATE A LONG-FORM AD THAT IS EDUCATIONAL / ENTERTAINING >> We didn't rock with the standard problem --> solution style ad.. instead, we wanted to connect with the user in a way in which only SHE would understand >> You see... the more someone FEELS UNDERSTOOD, the more likely they are to buy from you.... ^^^^^^^^^^^ I SUGGEST YOU SAVE THIS POINT IN YOUR NOTES FAM From an Ads perspective: - We dropped these ads into an ASC and after 24 hours, had created a 'scaling' ASC COST CAP campaign, inflated the budget, and now it's spending freely - The next step is to transition to a CBO bidcap campaign (they don't have enough content yet for this) Stay tuned for day 3.....
