@polibix7 @turtloid when i said the second half of op's post was tremolo i was referring to the fact that it's a measured (eighth note) variation in notes despite being done with glissando. you could also be more specific and call it a sort of tremoloic gesture rather than an actual tremolo.

@scalarknight @turtloid i think in the production of things like guitar pedals, it became necessary to have a specific term for only variation in volume even tho yes this is different from classical music im not disagreeing no disrespect intended all love

@polibix7 @turtloid no yeah it's definitely a thing in music production but its use is as the classical music theory term. it can be a rapid repitition of notes, measured variation in notes, (not pitch) or a variation in volume
