Let’s breakdown one of the cuts we made for #DAISING! Joojai transforms into his powerful Pi Yao form and beat the monster. To sell the impact of that power release, we used impact frames at the moment he strikes, then let the environment react. The ground shatters into vertical chunks that follow the direction of the force and the monster vanish into stylized debris cubes.
