The club is grateful for the offers made for the cricket and ground machinery and equipment it is selling. Bids have been received from 26 parties, and the website list of highest bids will continue to be updated, with successful bidders being contacted as soon as practicable.

@HalfTrackerfor6 No, it means if - say - the club gets an offer to collect in June, it would sell to a party who could collect sooner; or if - again say - a bidder was thought to have a greater need for an item than a club bidding more, it could accept the lower bid. Why always assume the worst?

A reminder bids for the machinery and other cricket equipment being sold by the club should be submitted by the end of today. Note, too, the club has no financial need to sell assets at below fair market prices, and reserves the right to sell to other than the highest bidder.

Some enquiries about what junior balls are in the bags! Here’s the collection. Also six new and six used (indoors only) pink junior match balls.

The club is grateful to those who came to look at items it is selling. Questions were asked about sundry items. In addition to the stumps, and training equipment shown on an earlier tweet, there are senior net balls, and junior equipment, including new training and match balls.

Continuing good work on the ground by Adam Richardson and his @GMGLASGOWLTD team, in parallel to the ongoing issues affecting the club.

Senior indoor practice is on again this Wednesday, the fifth in a series of weekly pre-season, Wednesday night, two-hour sessions at Hutchesons’ Grammar School Sports Hall. 7pm and 9pm.

News coverage of the club and “Shawholm” over the last week, both online and in print, local and national, was acknowledged at this evening’s Special Meeting of members.

Reminder to all members that there is a Special Meeting of the club tomorrow - Monday - at 7.30pm, in person, in the clubhouse.

The clubhouse is bouncing tonight as we host another @NetballBella fundraiser.

@poloccricket You kindly and generously hosted our U15s for their @ECB_cricket T20 game with @DaleCricket in August. A beautiful ground & a tragedy that the game will not continue to be played there. It’s a bit of a yomp to Durham but if you’re looking for a game at any time just let us know.

The club acknowledges, and is grateful for, the many expressions of good wishes this week from both the cricket family, and beyond, many people taking the opportunity to recall personal memories of "Shawholm", here pictured, last summer, hosting the touring Ulster Schools team.

We're pleased to be hosting @NetballBella again this weekend, for another fundraiser, sandwiched between hosting @ScottishCycling coach education days last weekend, and again later in the month.
